I know about Flux Networks for power, but are there cables that can transfer fluids and items?

As you know, Bob, Stoneblock has quite a few tech mods that include some kind of item and fluid and energy transport "thingies", whether they are called ducts, conduits, pipes, belts, cables, or whatever.
What do you think is best or worst for item transport, or fluid transport, or energy transport, and why? I'd love to hear about things like what's best & worst for lag when used in quanitity, what is cheap/expensive to build (or early-game vs late-game), what is best/worst for inducing "direwire" everywhere, what is "fastest with the mostest", what has really convenient features that others lack, etc.
TE conduits are the best cause they look coolest, but they're pretty slow.
EnderIO Conduits are the worst cause they're ugly, but they're very convenient since you can bundle them together.
Mekanism Cables are alright cause they also look cool, but they're kinda laggy.
AE2/RS cables are also the worst cause they're just actual stupid cables and nobody wants that.
Integrated dynamics are even also still the worstest cause they're ugly, but they're the fastest in every way.
Translocators are just short range integrated dynamics cables that look cool but are laggy.
Flux Network cables are the best cause they're imaginary cables but they don't work for items and fluids cause items and fluids aren't imaginary. :(
I missed some but they're all bad cause I can't remember them. Even if they're good, they're bad.
u/livefrmhollywood did a nice breakdown of some of the different item transfer options a month or so ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/9m5fte/how_do_you_do_powerful_things_with_any_pipes/.
The comments of that thread are also pretty detailed.
I want to know what you think the best pipe/cable is. This can be any mod of any version. What is the best for transporting items and what is the best for transporting energy?
