I purchased an unlocked Pixel 6 on December 1st last year at a BestBuy Mobile outlet.
The wireless charging has stopped working and I have gone through diagnosing the problem with Google device support, including fully discharging the battery and also a factory rest (yuck!).
Google Support then told me to "reach out to the store where you purchased the device", so I went to two different BestBuy stores including the one where I purchased the phone and they are telling me to "contact the manufacturer."
Has anyone else been through this and how did you get it resolved?
Thanks!
UPDATE (Nov 17): After several days of one-reply-per-day and being asked the same questions a second time, and a reply from me simply saying "Why does it take so long to reply?", some one from the top tier support replied and said they would allow me the advanced replacement.
I replied "Yes, I would like to proceed with the advanced replacement* shortly before 3 yesterday afternoon, but hadn't received any back this morning, so I replied just yes and within a few minutes received the RMA email with the link to order the replacement phone. They also gave me $65 in Google Store Credit good for one year.
