What happens to my PC if I upgraded to the GCC from previous Gigabyte software?
What is the difference between the RGB Fusion in GCC and the RGB Fusion 2?
How compatible is this with 3rd party RGB devices?
Hi Ahmed H. Al-Khars,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the Gigabyte Control Center. Let's try to troubleshoot and address each of your concerns:
- Issues with Minimizing Windows and Games:
- Check for conflicting software. Some third-party applications or overlays can interfere with the proper functioning of system control software. Try disabling or uninstalling any such software temporarily to see if the problem persists.
- Verify if your graphics drivers are up to date. Visit the official website of your graphics card manufacturer to download and install the latest drivers.
- Disable Overlays: Some overlay features in GCC might conflict with other applications. Try disabling any overlays or additional features.
- Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the GCC executable and choose "Properties." Under the "Compatibility" tab, try running it in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.
- GCC not detecting RAM, CPU cooler, and fan control:
- Make sure you have installed the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard. These drivers are crucial for proper communication between hardware components and control software.
- GCC Permissions: Run GCC as an administrator. Sometimes it needs elevated permissions to access hardware information.
- Make sure you have installed the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard. These drivers are crucial for proper communication between hardware components and control software.
- PC Overall Performance:
- If your PC performance is slow, it might not be directly related to the Gigabyte Control Center. Check for other factors such as background processes, unnecessary startup programs, or malware.
- Contact Gigabyte Support:
- If the problems persist after trying the above steps, consider reaching out to Gigabyte's official support. They may provide specific guidance or updates related to your motherboard and software.
I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Your Sincerely
Hahn - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
I have the same problem ............

Hello,
I just upgraded from a MSI RTX 2060 to a Gigabyte RTX 4060 Ti. I was using the NVIDIA GeForce Experience to keep drivers up to date on the MSI GPU. Can I still just keep using that? Do I need to download the GCC for anything related to the graphics card?
I've had so many issues the past week from updating my driver's through GCC, in the end i did a full clean install and bios reset of windows, after that i manually installed all my drivers and the issues seem to be fixed
Afternoon all!
For those that have been effected by the latest GCC updated. Please make sure error logging is enabled in GCC.
And can you respond with the model of your gpu (revision too if its more than 1.0) and a copy of the error log.
You can also drop these error logs to me in the Aorus discord, and i'll pass them upward.
Also, if you can check in C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\logs too, that will be helpful.
for anyone that is still on 23.03.02.01, please, stay there!
UPDATE
If you can forward your error logs before doing this, this will help getting this bug fixed :)
But, for the mean time.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\Download
Locate GBT_VGA_23.03.10.01.exe, and reinstall it from here.
This has fixed it my end, but some confirmation would be nice!
UPDATE 2 For those that do not have GBT_VGA_23.03.10.01.exe locally on their machine, here is a direct link from gigabytes servers. https://mb.download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Swhttp/LiveUpdate4/GCC/GBT_VGA/GBT_VGA_23.03.10.01.exe
UPDATE 3 Gigabyte has pushed out an update on the 11th of april that fixes the issue around GBT_VGA_23.04.07.02. GBT_VGA_23.04.11.01 is now available for download within GCC.
UPDATE 4 There may still be issues, if you have any, please post them below.
Basically what the title says. For context I have a gigabyte aorus b550m Elite motherboard and was wondering if I should use the GCC to update the drivers or through other means? I'm asking because after research, it seems that the GCC does not have a good reputation.
Just bought AORUS 15 and I was totally surprised about how bad the main software is. I am GCC needs to control everything on my laptop jet somehow it is nearly impossible to see due to extra small text and being unable to resize the app. Also clicking on basically anything freezes for a sec before actually doing anything and half the time the app simply won't start. How can this be an issue on a top-of-the-line laptop? I had HP, Asus, MSI, and Lenovo before, and never have I seen such bad control app...
Not sure what to install here. Please help?
