Hi! We are starting to expand our kids' horizons beyond the typical SpongeBob / Air Bud type of family movies. Admittedly, we have kept them pretty sheltered up until the last year or so. We have started with a few- Gremlins, Holy Grail, Men In Tights, and we also took them to see The Imitation Game (FANTASTIC movie btw). The only other thing that we can come up with in a similar vein (with skipable adult related scenes, like the chastity belt in MIT) is UHF. Not looking for anything scary, they're still pretty imaginative and horror has a tendency to stick with them. What were your favorites growing up, and what would you let your kids watch? Thanks for your help!
With all the craziness going on in our lives , we really need something that isn’t too stressful and is kinda fun . We tend to enjoy movies about dogs , and my mom always enjoys a good romcom. Please nothing animated .
