I think too many folks worry about this. We’re all taking the same crappy phone photos no matter what phone we’re using, and the quality really isn’t that much different. Just buy the phone you like and stop worrying value what other folks are buying. And to be totally honest, your phone will still be taking good enough photos 3-4 years from now. Your friend isnt smart. The google pixel 6a is a 12 MP camera. The Iphone 15 is 48 MP that uses pixel binning to output a 12 MP image, bit can shoot full 48. Pixel 6a scores a 122 on dxo mark, the iphone 154. The iphone is better on all fronts. But both still suck compared to a real camera.
