Hey all,
We've had both Google Shopping App Purchase and GA4 conversion actions for purchases on multiple accounts and are suspecting that we've been double counting.
So I have 3 questions:
Would we be double counting in this case (the values on both conversion action are pretty close).
If we make one of them secondary would this solve our issue or would we have to delete or pause one?
GA4 or Google Shopping App Purchase, which is more accurate/reliable? I believe Google Shopping App Purchase is created automatically for Shopify stores that have the Google & YouTube app installed (correct me if I'm wrong) therefore wouldn't this be more accurate than GA4 trying to sniff all the data indirectly?

Selling on eBay or any marketplace is not the same as selling on your own site. People are a lot more likely to buy off a marketplace like eBay or Amazon because there is the built in trust factor. You are comparing apple's to orange's on your site vs eBay/Amazon..ect. For Free listings, could be a host of reasons why you get no clicks. For most clients free listings is a rounding error and not something we focus on. Paid shopping ads is where the money is. More on reddit.com

Any suggestions on alternatives to Google shopping? I’m in the same boat. It’s so hard to find good quality items, all the suggestions are mostly Amazon or Temu 😵💫. I’m in my phase where I’m sick of buying bad quality everything and just want better quality items that’ll last longer. I thought DuckDuckGo might have some better suggestions but it seems almost the same as Google.
