So I am going to the studio tour in London in January and was barely able to get a ticket for a timeslot that is not the last one of the day. Was now randomly checking the dates and for some reason all days that week are open now and more time slots as well. Should I change my booking to an earlier timeslot and pay 10 pounds? I woud love to see the outside bits in the dark though and I have been to the studio tour in Tokyo last may so already know some stuff from a recent trip (but don't know how similar they are)

I don't think you've provided enough information and I'd also argue the question is too subjective. Are you wanting to know if you'll have enough time to see everything going at a later time slot? I think it took us at least 5 hours when we went. But you don't mention what time your slot is.

I just went in the beginning of this month! And we had an earlier time slot of about 10:30, and it was pretty busy. And we probably exited the tour around 1:30-2 and the line was incredibly long to even start! So i would say go earlier if you can, the first three sections are guided and then you are self guided the rest of the tour and can take your time! We had the best time ever going for our first time! But again, even just being able to go was a treat! I think either way you will have a great time! Just enjoy it! It’s truly one of the coolest things I’ve ever gone too :) and I would totally go again if I ever got the chance!!🤍

Hi. We had a 5:30 pm time slot too. The actual closing time is 10 pm. If you are using the shuttle, the last one leaves at 9:30 pm. 4 hours is enough to see everything, shop and sample the Butterbeer Ice Cream too. You're able to shop, eat and have Srarbucks before you enter. HAve fun, it's awesome.

Mirvish to close ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ after 13 month run in Toronto | Globalnews.ca
April 17, 2023 - The end of “Harry Potter” comes as Canadian live theatre struggles for direction in the wake of extensive COVID-19 closures and a slow recovery. Producers hoped to cast a spell over audiences with a familiar franchise and theatrical spectacle that includes flying actors and impressive pyrotechnics. But the stage production was a gamble from the start. Toronto producer David Mirvish said when taking into account ticket sales trends, it became clear that high running costs would make it difficult to keep the show open.
