Always been a dream of mine to make a haunted dollhouse so I decided to build one from scratch using old cardboard boxes, foam core and different pieces of cardstock I had laying around! I layered different pieces of cardstock together to make the windows, door and shutters and used clear plastic folder inserts for the window glass. I made the roof shingles by cutting out strips of cardstock with a scalloped pair of scissors and then layering them on top of each other. I went through a few rounds of paint until I was happy with the colors, ultimately settling for something darker and moodier than what I started with! The stone at the bottom was made using styrofoam that I etched a stone design into using a pen :) Kind of want to do the inside now but I think ill wait until next year! I'm so happy with how this turned out

Saw on marketplace and decided it needed to be haunted!
I've always wanted to do this! I had some scrap cardboard and cardstock laying around and decided to design and build a miniature haunted house :) I only made the facade but I'm thinking I could tackle the inside next season. The base walls were made using foam core. I used clear folder dividers for the window glass, cardstock for the siding and trim, foam for the stone at the bottom and did a few rounds of paint until I was happy with everything! Still not sure about the purple door. What do you guys think? How could I improve it?
