The idea is beginning to grow on me that it matters whether your iPhone is on wifi or cellular when you try to add a card to Apple Pay. When I first set up my card for Apple Pay and as a payment method for my Apple Account, I somehow managed to both see
the custom name and artwork of my card in the app 'Wallet'
the custom name and artwork of my card in the app 'Settings', and after the name, it said '(Apple Pay)' as well
I now got a new card from my issue due to the old one expiring and I somehow can't get to this state anymore. As of now,
my card in the app 'Wallet' has been automatically updated with the new info
my card listed as additional payment method in the app 'Settings' was not updated, so I removed it and added my new card there manually, but now, it does not show the custom name, the custom graphic and the '(Apple Pay)' is gone as well
I suspect that this requires some specific steps of adding the card, but I can't figure out the correct way. Does anybody have an idea?
