Live life as closely you can to what the purpose of life is. What ever you think the meaning of life is. If you are a Satre-existentialist then you believe that the universe have no objective meaning and that any meaning of life is something you invent yourself. So the meaning of life would be what ever you pretend that it is and the "fullest life" would probably be a life that is closest to what ever that is. Then you have hedonic view that life is all about getting fun and pleasure, then living life to the fullest would be to do stuff that gives most pleasure. All sorts of drugs, orgies and fun and that sort of thing. Pretty expensive life I guess. If you have some sort of formal "meaning" to life, if you are religious for example. Muslims think that the world exist to please God, and the Quran states that humans are created to worship God. In that case it is obvious what a full life is, just do what your religion teaches is a good life. There probably are many more. My main point is: 1: Find the meaning of life 2: Live life accordingly I think that would be the best plan if you want to live a life to the fullest and get the most out of it, what ever you consider the most. Generally you can't determine the mean from just the range and median, unfortunately. To illustrate: [1, 2, 3, 25, 26, 27, 49] - Range: 1 - 49, Median: 25, Mean: 19 [1, 23, 24, 25, 47, 48, 49] - Range: 1 - 49, Median: 25, Mean: 31 You could possibly approximate if you had more info about the shape of the data, such as the skew.
