I just got the Govee TV backlight T2 (the one with a twin-camera mounted to the top of the TV and stips that stick to the back of the TV).
I love having everything synced with what's on the TV, so can I get other Govee lights that I can use around the living room that all sync up with the colour of the TV - so if the TV shows fire (for example), the whole room lights up red and when the TV shows a blue underwater scene, the whole room lights up blue. My goal would be to replace my regular lamps with Govee lights and when I'm playing games, the entire living room changes to match the TV.
Is this possible? Has anyone tried this?Are the only certain types of Govee products that will work with the T2 backlight camera?

Hey OP, did you ever manage to find govee led strips that sync up with the TV led strips?

Not all, but yes many can. As long as they have Bluetooth connectivity and they don't have their own sync box (like the one that comes with the T2.) For example I have the T2 and I synced it up with two of these floor lamps .

I recently bought a new 65" LG C1 and I have set up the Govee Immersion kit. Works great.
We plan on building a whole wall entertainment cabinetry and plan on adding govee strip lights to the top and bottom of the whole wall, about 3.5m wide.
My question is, thru software, aftermarket, hacks or whatever, is there a way to make the top and bottom strip lights, match the colours the TV's Top and bottom are showing?
Handy with a soldering iron etc, if that is what it takes?

Anybody find a decent way to automate turning the govee immersion on and off with the tv? I haven't found any decent solution yet. I'm thinking something with tasker maybe?
Update:SOLVED
Connected my Samsung TV through Smart Things, and then used the app IFTTT to govee, then set a routine for the govee to turn on or off with the tv.

Think I've got it sorted out. I'm using IFTTT. I linked my Samsung TV through "Smart Things" then made a command through IFTTT , if Samsung tv is turned on, turn on govee "insert whatever led you have here" . Then made another one for if the tv is turned off.... But if course I didn't figure this all out until I got in bed, so I'll have to update tomorrow on wether or not it worked.

Homebridge can accomplish this. I have my Immersion lights set to turn on/off with my TCL Roku TV.
