April 12, 2025NYC small eat-in kitchen question: have you found any small table/chair solutions you were happy to seat 3 or 4 people? If so, what did you find and where?
Ikea's Norden Table is pretty good for small spaces because you can keep one of the leaves closed and only open it when you need to seat more people. I've had one for years and it does the job. I would add the caveats that the gate leg that holds each leaf up doesn't leave a ton of leg room so you can't seat as many people as you might be able to on a table with the same footprint but straight legs, and also it is fucking HEAVY if you ever need to move it.
