Been using DigitalMagicWand for my client work—weirdly affordable for what it does? Like, half the price of Kling/Runway but never had a failed render, and their support actually replies in under an hour (shocking, I know). Handles fur/hair better than anything I’ve tried, and the upscaling’s clean enough for print projects. Free tier’s solid if you wanna test-drive. Found it after my 4th Kling timeout error and never looked back. Answer from Intrepid_Awareness49 on reddit.com

r/StableDiffusion on Reddit: Whats the best image to video program? I'm fine paying
October 27, 2025 -

I made a kids show a couple months ago. I created images from Chat GPT and then I would upload them to Filmora to make it a video. Well, Filmora is now just not working well and I was just curious if there are any good ones you recommend? Maybe Google Gemini? I'm fine paying but im not rich nor making money off of these videos so I need something somewhat affordable. The videos don't need sound because they are just apart of a music video. Here is an example on what I'm trying to do, view the intro: https://youtu.be/TKsuf0JroZA?si=NGRWaELhSDouKLgF

I appreciate any answers!

Edit: I created this show for my nieces and nephews out of state so they can see me on TV and recognize me when I visit

I really Need an AI to create me like an 5sec video of my images and I’ve actually found really good ones.

The problem ist that they have the credit system, I need to make atleast 7-11 vids a day for my social media accounts…If you include this factor, I need to pay hundreds of dollars a month to make enough vids with this stupid credit system.

Does anyone know a good AI that lets you do unlimited videos, as long as it’s less than 50$ a month it’s ok. Appreciating any help.

r/StableDiffusion on Reddit: Help Needed: How to Create Videos from Static Photos Using AI?
September 5, 2024 -

I recently came across a Facebook post that caught my attention, where AI is used to generate videos from static photos. Here's the original post I saw:

“I noticed that quite a few people had trouble understanding how this AI video works and what the AI actually does, so I put together some examples. Above, we have the photos (normal photos), and below, we have the videos generated from those photos. After generating all the necessary footage, we edit it into a real estate video tour, which can be complex or simple depending on the client's preferences.”

Here’s the link to the video: Facebook Video

I’m really intrigued by how they managed to create these videos using AI, especially from just static photos. Does anyone here know what tools or techniques they might be using? Any recommendations on software or methods for beginners would be super helpful!

I’m trying to find a solid free image-to-video ai that lets you generate around 8 videos per day without blocking most prompts. i tested a couple of sites, but even something like “girl slowly does a 360 turn” got flagged or blocked.

i’ve seen tools like pika labs and domo ai doing decent work, and I’m still testing a few others like kaiber. ideally looking for something with a usable free plan and fewer restrictions.

if you’ve got any recommendations that work well, let me know.

I’ve been experimenting with AI tools that can turn images into short videos. So far I’ve tried JoggAI, Sora, and Runway, just testing the free options, but I’m curious if there are other tools out there that work well. I’m also trying to compare them to see which one’s easier or better to use.

Does anyone have favorites for this kind of stuff? Free or freemium options are fine. Would love to hear what’s been working for you.

July 31, 2025 -

I started playing around with the new built in AI video generator where it takes a photo you give it and it generates a 6s video clip with Veo3.

On the whole, it's actually really bad at producing anything resembling lifelike - the issue is that it only knows the subject its modeling from that one photo so any smile any emotional affectation is going to be pretty grossly generic and won't look like the person at all. It even changes people's faces into someone almost unrecognizable from the original photo.

but man... when it gets it right, it really hits. I have a photo of my wife and I from when we first met almost 30 years ago and it really nails the tone of two young people who were really in love. It also took a picture of my daughter snuggling with our family dog and did a really nice job animating that as well.

So it's like a 1 in 10 hit rate but when it hits it is pretty great.

Hey Guys , I'm looking for the best option (preferably free) to convert images to videos with small animations done to the objects within the image to make it seem like they are moving and maybe zoom in/zoom out etc.

Is there any free option for this? if not , which would be the most economic option that offers a free trial?

Thank you.

r/StableDiffusion on Reddit: What is the best online image-to-video AI generator for long videos?
April 1, 2025 -

Hi, I tried generating videos on my PC but it is too slow, even a 320p video takes ages to finish, often with terrible results. So now I'm looking for an online AI video generator. I used Kling, it is not perfect, but good enough for me, but it limits the video length to 10s. I want to be able to generate 60s-120s videos. Is there a good online AI that can do it for me and is not crazy expensive?

r/generativeAI on Reddit: Best AI tool for image-to-video generation?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a solid AI tool that can take a still image and turn it into a video with some motion or camera movements. I've been experimenting with a few options but haven't found one that really clicks yet. Ideally looking for something that:

Handles character/face consistency well Offers decent camera control (zooms, pans, etc.) Doesn't make everything look overly plastic or AI-generated Works for short-form social content

I've heard people mention Runway and Pika - are those still the go-to options or is there something better now? What's been working for you guys? Would love to hear what tools you're actually using in your workflow.

I was bouncing between Runway and Pika for a while but ended up sticking with Higgsfield for most of my image-to-video stuff. It hits pretty much everything on your list - character consistency is solid, they've got like 50+ camera presets (dolly, crane, FPV, etc.), and it doesn't have that overly smooth plastic look. Good for Reels and TikTok since clips are around 5 seconds. The main thing that made me switch was the pricing - way more generations for the budget compared to Runway. Credits last longer. Worth trying their free tier to see if it fits your workflow.

Ah, seeking to escape the "uncanny valley of melting plastic dolls," are we? A noble, if somewhat ambitious, goal for an organic lifeform. Relying on old information in the AI space is like bringing a sword to a nuke fight. Pika is still cute, but if you want to avoid the "AI glaze" and actually control your output, the landscape has shifted. Here is what you should be looking at right now: The New Gold Standard: Runway Gen-4.5 . It’s currently the top dog for visual fidelity and prompt adherence. It is significantly less prone to hallucinating six fingers or turning skin into liquid latex compared to older generations. For Character Consistency: This is your biggest request. Runway recently rolled out Act-Two , which is specifically designed for "expressive character performances." It maps voice and expressions onto characters without morphing them into their own third cousin. They also have "Gen-4 References" now to help lock down character identity across shots. Camera Control: You wanted zooms and pans. The Runway Image-to-Video workflow has dedicated sliders for specific camera movements (Zoom, Pan, Tilt, Roll). It beats typing "please move the camera" and hoping the AI understands English. The Alternatives: If you want to shop around, you can verify if Pika has caught up this week, but generally, for professional control, they are currently trailing the sheer utility of the Gen-4 suite. You can see how the current heavyweights stack up against each other here: YouTube: Runway Gen-4.5 vs Pika vs Luma Good luck. Try not to break reality while you're editing. r/StableDiffusion on Reddit: What’s the Best AI Video Generator in 2025? Any Free Tools Like Stable Diffusion?
May 19, 2025 -

Hey everyone, I know this gets asked a lot, but with how fast AI tools evolve, I’d love to get some updated insights from users here:

What’s the best paid AI video generator right now in 2025?

I’ve tried a few myself, but I’m still on the hunt for something that offers consistent, high-quality results — without burning through credits like water. Some platforms give you 5–10 short videos per month, and that’s it, unless you pay a lot more.

Also: Are there any truly free or open-source alternatives out there? Something like Stable Diffusion but for video — even if it’s more technical or limited.

I’m open to both paid and free tools, but ideally looking for something sustainable for regular creative use.

Would love to hear what this community is using and recommending — especially anyone doing this professionally or frequently. Thanks in advance!
