I believe my 13 Pro Max lasted a year and a half at 100%. I’m pretty religious when it comes to Apple-brand chargers, and I feel like that’s what helped. I noticed that third-party chargers, especially cheap ones, didn’t work well with the optimized charging. I was at 100% capacity and then went on a trip to California, where I used a cheap third-party charger, and optimized charging never kicked in (where it would charge to 86% and then continue charging to 100% a few hours before waking up). That’s when it finally dropped to 99%. I’m fairly regular with using the Apple-branded MagSafe charger every night though. I’ve had this phone since December 2021, and I’m currently at 87%, original battery. Answer from Deleted User on reddit.com

Is 87% iPhone battery health normal after one year?
I'm not seeing much difference since Apple suggests more cycles to 80%. Nobody runs their phones in lab controlled, ideal conditions. It may likely be somewhere between 25 and 50 cycles is normal for a 1% decline. In this users case, with 470 cycles and year later, they simply don't have an ...

r/iPhone13Pro on Reddit: Whoever has already replaced their battery health, did it really improve performance and things overall significantly?
August 29, 2025 -

I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro since April of 2022. Since then my battery health has degraded from 100% to 79%. I just would like to know if a replacement of the battery would have a significant improvement on performance and everything overall. I would really appreciate some insight on this. Thank you!!!

I’d also like to mention, I may have depleted my my battery health way faster than on average, I think it may be because I used a plug with a much higher voltage input which probably affected my battery massively.
