Question for you all: if I were to buy an iPhone 13 from Target, which only offers AT&T options, would it work with T-Mobile if I put my sim in it first, or would I need to use AT&T for it to work? I have an employee discount, but I am a T-Mobile user, so I was wondering how it worked. Thanks.
the ones from target and other resellers are locked, even if you buy full price. it makes no sense.. you then may have to keep it on an att line first before they unlock it, since it's a reseller activation lock issue not worth the hassle IMO More on reddit.com

I've purchased my third 13PM a couple of days ago after prices dropped on the certified refurbished store. We need to have a pSIM for at least 7 more years between my wife and myself and will use the phones until Apple stops supporting them. Even if we need to do multiple battery changes.

(131662031) (FB14298506) Workaround: Connect the device directly to the Mac using a USBC or Lightning cable, then place the device in airplane mode to force Xcode to use the deivce over the wired connection. Once Xcode is successfully using the device over the wired connection, you can turn airplane mode back on, and Xcode will continue to use the wired connection. If Xcode is unable to determine the state of developer mode on a device, it will report that developer mode is disabled, possibly leading to confusion if developer mode is actually enabled. Purchased a 13 pro max 1tb on amazon renewed last weekend, it arrived with a small crack in the screen on wednesday. I opened a return and purchased another from a different vendor with prime delivery, should be here tomorrow. First iphone since 2011 or so, pretty fuckin hype. Maybe this post isnt premium content, but like the rest of yall, I'm pretty tired of the 16pm posts, maybe the mods can just spin a megathread and delete the rubbish. Hope yall have a great weekend 🍻

I bought my (used) 13pm 256GB about 2 weeks ago for $530. My iPhone 12 had been smashed up for almost 2 years and the battery barely lasted 2 hours. I really liked that phone and had no intention of upgrading but got tired of cutting my hands taking it out of my pocket lol. I looked at the 14 and 15 but decided I liked the alpine green color the best so I went with the 13pm. Very happy!
