After 2 years with my iPhone 13 pro battery capacity is at 89%, not sure if it’s good or bad and how does it compare to a 2 year old Samsung phone?
13 PM is a beast 😈, bought it at launch and it's still going strong. I ran the battery cycle count and it's over 600 but less than 700. I rarely charge it with my 20W charger, mostly charged by Apple carplay and usb laptop cable. I try to not go over 80% and below 20%. Anyone else with such great battery ?
Hi,
I am upgrading from my iphone 12(256GB) serving me since last 3 years. It's battery is less than 80%. I have to charge the phone atleast 2-3 a day. I am heavy on calls & browser activity.Saw this refurbished iphone 13 pro(256 GB) with 87% battery life from a reputed seller at around 600£.
Any thoughts is it worth upgrading.
Edit: Decided to keep the phone and replace the battery.
I've had my 13 Pro Max two years and mostly I love it! Maybe because I do wireless charging the battery health has slowly gone down to 80% then stopped changing about 6-9 months ago. I have Apple Care Plus and I know Apple's policy is to only replace batteries when battery health is 79% and lower. I kind of wonder if Apple is doing something funny, making battery health STATUS INDICATOR stop at 80% to avoid changing batteries under warranty. Sounds crazy, but what do you think?
I would like to keep my 13 PM for another two years, as the 16 seems disappointing. But I'm debating if I should cancel the expensive Apple Care insurance.
I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro max since they came out approx 3 years ago(?) and I’m thinking of upgrading my phone, but it does work well so I’m debating keeping it for longer. The battery health is at 88%, that’s the original factory fitted battery. Is this good? What can I realistically expect out of it over another year or 2? Any advice welcome thanks
Hi guys 👋 It’s been a year since I started using my iPhone 13 and my battery health is at 93% I would like to know whether this shows good/normal/bad usage according to your views 🙃

I have had my iPhone 13 Pro since December 2021. The phone is great and besides the battery I have had no issues with it. I was tempted to upgrade to the iPhone 17 Pro in the fall, but I absolutely hate the new design.
I know people say to wait until below 80% battery, but would it be worth it to do it now at 90%? I feel like I have to charge my phone twice a day (it doesn’t die but it will get to around 40-50% around 3ish pm and I’ll charge it again when I’m going out). For like $90 a new battery that will prolong the life of my great phone sounds like a solid deal.
TIA!
Have had the phone since release, and its at 80% find it doesn't last a full day of use and wondering if its worth replacing as it doesnt say needs replacing yet or just hold out to the next iphone release next year? (from Aus so its $150 AUD)
So well, I charge using super charger(original one), everything is original. From cable to the charger itself
Battery is below 90%, it lasts around 4/5 hours from 100% - 0%, watching films(for 1 hour-2 hours max), browsing(3 hours-4 hours)
Is it normal?
Am I missing smth

Keep in mind that the 10 hour screen time is while I charge my phone
I bought the phone used on eBay, I was wondering, is worth it to change the battery on Apple for a new one? The battery holds as a lock, I disconnect the phone at 8 am, I charge it again at 2:00 PM to 3:00PM and holds all day long almost to bed time (heavy use, even using 5G), but my friend told me that this phone’s battery is pretty good when is new. Do you guys think that I will notice a difference if I pay for a full new battery or should I stay with this battery and do not get a new one?
Edit 1: Hey, thanks for all your responses!!, I’m going to change the battery this week, for all the people that are saying that Apple only replace the battery if it is 80% or lower that’s not true, the battery replacement is $89 plus taxes, I’ll keep you guys updated when I get my new battery and of course in the next couple of weeks I’ll edit again to let know if was worth it the change.
