I was one of the people who got Max on launch day. I remember being so excited to watch HBO shows, Cartoon Network cartoons, and old Sesame Street episodes. Well, it's been 4 years since it launched, and a lot has changed, from shows being taken off the service, to changes in leadership, to merging with Discovery, to rebranding to just Max. After everything the service has gone through, is it worth getting in 2024?

Go monthly? I switch out services instead of subscribing to all of them for a year. I'm okay not staying caught up in real time on any shows.

I’ve subscribed to the streaming service when it dropped but now it’s nothing like regular HBO at all & is pretty much a streaming service for Discovery & TLC shows, is it worth it anymore?

Most of their original HBO content is completely gone & lost basically, I don’t think it’s worth it at all anymore

What a load of bull.......there is plenty of HBO shows (they have a whole section for it) and other Warner Bros content on Max but if you can't find it quit whining and just quit. Persaonally I don't like all the sports and news they''ve added, but I'm not complaining because I don't have any problem finding what I do like and ignore the rest.

Netflix is only good for originals, so I sub like once a year and binge what I want Hulu/Max actually has tv and movies made before the streaming era so I keep them year round

I downgraded Netflix to the commercial plan & kept Max. I feel like I don't watch Netflix as much as I used to. So the downgrade works for me.

They have all these high quality prestige dramas that feel like movies not TV shows. Plus some fine comedies and since this summer the addition of live sports makes it easy for me to watch my favourite sports.
