Is LastPass Free enough?
If you're only looking to save your passwords on one device, then LastPass Free will likely be enough for you. But if you want to save passwords across devices, like between your computer and phone, for example, then the Premium version will be much more convenient for you.
What Is LastPass?
LastPass is a free password manager that offers unlimited password storage and multi-device sync (as long as the devices are of the same type). There’s also a Premium plan available that adds application autofill, priority support and one-to-many password sharing. No matter which plan you choose, LastPass can work on any computer that supports Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Opera.
I've been using Last Pass free version for years, and mostly like it. Looking at the 'sales material' that I receive occasionally from them, I can see some advantages to paying for the premium version, such as the Security Dashboard.
But looking at the examples shown, as well as reading online material about password managers in general, it seems that the premium version is really geared towards using on a smartphone for the most part. Does anyone have an opinion about using premium ONLY on a Windows PC? I very rarely use our smartphone for anything that requires a password. Thanks!
