CMV: Jews have no legitimate claim to the land of modern day Israel. A two-state solution is already a major concession made by the Palestinians.
Do you think that in the history of the world, many countries have a lot more claim over a land than the fact that they simply managed to take it, hold it and make allies who agreed to those borders? More on reddit.com

What is up with people saying that Israel is not a country?
It’s in relation to the creation of the state of Israel post WW2 and the hot bed of geopolitical issues that have arisen from the conflicts that have been prevalent since the states conception. I may not be correct in this but I believe it’s primarily in relation to Israel’s expansion into Palestine and the blockade of Gaza. Both sides try and delegitimize each other through various means, this is a meme of the whole situation. More on reddit.com

CMV: Israel is quite alright
Keeping a population of people as poor as you can (by blockading their access to the outside world) AND fully knowing young babies and elders are dying from malnutrition and lack of medicine just a short distance away and doing nothing AND refusing to let them form their own country AND refusing to let them vote in the country you claim their in AND retaliating against their desperate violence by always killing way way more of them then they did to you AND stealing their homes and shoving families with young babies into the dirt so an israeli family can move in..... I could go on. All countries commit atrocities, it doesn't make Israel uniquely bad but the way it is blindly defended by an extremely nationalistic population as a shining hero of justice and truth is sickening.
