Hey guys,
I recently picked up my first ever mechanical keyboard and decided to go with the Keychron K2. Despite haters online saying that these keyboards aren't worth the buy. I am extremely happy with my decision and have had just the best time using this keyboard for this past week.
After using it for a while, I am looking to use the Keychron Launcher to customize the functionality of the board further and have had a lot of problems.
The site does not recognize my keyboard when plugging it in directly to my computer and making sure the keyboard is in cable mode.
I have tried all of the fixes I have seen online (browser permissions, etc.) but have been unable to find a fix. Is my keyboard not compatible with the website? Am I missing something stupid?
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

The Keychron K2 is one of their garbage low-end boards that do not run QMK firmware. I don't know why they still make these old things. This one isn't even hotswap. If you can return it for a refund do that, and get a K2 Pro or K2 Max or a V1. Or an Akko 5075S VIA or Gamakay SN75. Or even a CIY Tester84. I have a K2 Pro and it's lovely, but the base K2... not so much.

Re "I am looking to use the Keychron Launcher to customize the functionality": That is not possible. It only works for the QMK -based keyboards. There is very little that can be changed on the Keychron K2. See for example: K2 key combination table Though there is also the exotic option . The K2 is on the list of supported keyboard , at least one of the variants.

I was few of the lucky ones to get it as discounted price, but it seems to be sold out for know. I hope it comes in stock soon, but for all aluminium body with wood edges it gives me the premium feeling overall. The RGB it enough for my taste and it perfect for young adults who want more of that ''adult taste'' feeling, but still want something you can switch off if you want to (it has many modes, which a bonus so you can find perfect one for you). The Keychron launcher website works well and with their websites help you can update you products easily.

I just received a brand new Keychron K2 HE this afternoon. I'm very much not a fan of the DEL and RGB toggle placement and would like to swap them. In addition, I would like to be able to play with all of the fancy features of this board. Unfortunately, I cannot get Keychron Launcher to connect to this board. I've unplugged the 2.4ghz dongle and have plugged the keyboard in with a cable and set the switch to cable on the side. I've tried multiple usb ports and multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, and Brave which is what I normally use) and none of that makes a difference. When I start Keychron Launcher and hit connect, the box shows my K2 HE, but when I hit connect it just loads infinitely. I have a friend who just built a PC who I told to buy this keyboard as well and he has the same exact issue. I've updated the firmware to the latest version and still have this issue too. Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong
