I recently got a new keychron keyboard and I was replacing an old Razer keyboard that I had. The razer keyboard came with Razer central which was like a software to program and change the lighting on my keyboard, is there something similar for keychron keyboards?
I want to change the backlight based on the layer and apparently the only way to achieve that is to modify the QMK firmware source code yourself. I can find source code for standard V1 on GitHub but nothing for the V1 Max. Can someone please provide a link? Thanks.
Paid 214 dollar for a keyboard only to realise that the software hardly works. Don't get me wrong the keyboard is amazing itself but it's very weird a big brand like keychron has NO software at all and the software that's available (VIA) just does not work and is kind of meh. Hopefully there's some kind of third party solution to this.
(the problem)
I have a keychron Q3 pro with knob and whenever I open VIA (wheter its in the browser or the downloaded version) VIA does not detect my keyboard. Replugging it does not work. The only thing that seems to work is downloading a .json for this keyboard and uploading it every single time I want to change something. Also there is nothing to change the rgb of the keyboard and there is no such thing as profiles for certain games which is VERY VERY handy and important (at least for me). Now I have 4 lovely macro keys without purpose <3. Keychron I love you thus far but this 3rd party software solution is just shameful and not a good image. You can do a lot better. Or at least give users the possibility to make some kind of software.
I would like to edit my qmk firmware, but I can't find a download for it.
In the manual it says to go to caniusevia.com and changing with via works, but I need something I don't thing via can provide.
How can I get the firmware and edit it in qmk tool box
(Unless someone knows how to create an Macro that, if double clicked Shift-S so SS, writes a Γ instead)
