Hey everyone, if you have received your headphones could you post your thoughts?

There seems to be radio silence on behalf of the tech sites so I wanted to hear from the consumers before I get my pair (which seems like it won't be for another month due to delays).

Edit: well I got my headphones and overall I'm very pleased with them! They sound great, have solid Bluetooth connection, pretty good mic quality and a transparency mode that serves its purpose just fine. The fit is great but like the others have said, the ear wingtips do fall off when they're out of your ears. While this is annoying, I've learned to reposition them before putting them in their case.

I'm awaiting a response from klipsch on this issue, maybe they can release new wingtips that stay on better to help with this issue. Other than that they're great, I'd give them an 8.5/10.

Update:

So... I was so happy with these headphones and then all of a sudden... They died! Won't even charge anymore. Fortunately I'm still within the return period with world wide stereo so I'm going through the rma process now.

Update #2: Sheesh my second pair bricked as well! These headphones seem great but obviously have issues, hard to believe klipsch hasn't responded to them yet

I've had these headphones for a few days now and have been testing them out, figured I would post my thoughts on them here.

Sound: A+First, the sound quality seems MUCH better than the original T5's. I can definitely hear the bass a lot more clearly. Highs and lows seem about the same, but despite it's issues, the T5's had great sound. So these seemed to push that bar a bit higher.

Comfort: B+FAR improved. It comes with several different sized silicone tips, as well as FOAM TIPS. The first thing I do with new earphones is shop at Comply for foam buds. These came with them, which is awesome. They are definitely comfortable. The "wings" also help hold them in your ears without pushing painfully against them. The earpieces themselves are smaller and lighter than their predecessors. The control button on each earphone is easier to press, so you don't have to jam them further into your ear just to hit the media buttons.

Connection: AAgain, a large improvement over the originals, and most other true wireless earbuds. Two categories here:

• Klipsch App: I don't know what they did to the app, but they fixed a ton of the issues when it comes to these new buds. I had a NIGHTMARE of a time with the original T5's connecting to the app, updating the firmware, changing settings, etc... These new buds connected right away, the app walked me through everything I needed, updated the firmware WITHOUT ISSUES, and allowed me to change settings easily. It's a shame they didn't wait to just release the app with the new headphones, because it seems pretty seamless now. The only downside is that you cannot change the media control button settings.

• Bluetooth: The bluetooth antenna built in to the earpieces seems to have done the trick in fixing what a lot of other true wireless buds seem to suffer from. Previously, walking outside would often have a lot of interference and cut out your music. At least from the T5 (originals), Klipsch support could only tell me to keep my phone in a pocket closer to the 'master' earbud, but even that never solved it 100%. Now though, after walking around, phone in opposite back pocket from the master bud, no audio cutouts. Any FURTHER than that will cause issues (arm's length behind me practically killed the connection), but it's manageable.

Design and Case: BThe case is certainly an oddball, with its desiccant pack built in to the case. They're sport headphones, but I wonder just HOW MUCH water they expect to get in headphones? I don't workout with them typically so maybe that's an area I shouldn't comment on. Certainly a neat feature though! That said, the case design is alright, but I do have to fiddle with the earphones a bit when they have the foam tips in order to get them to sit right to charge in the case. The double latch on them keeps them pretty secure in there and I would imagine from falls and the like. I'm not going to test that though!The earphone's design is nothing entirely special, but they aren't in-your-face logo branding like their predecessors. They're smaller than most and look nice. About as much as you can ask!

Features: B+Not sure if the T5s had this feature, but these buds DO have an 'audio passthrough' mode, where it just feeds outside sound into the pieces. Sounds good on paper, but doesn't operate very well. Sometimes it will become pretty disorienting as it tries to filter out static noise. Sound will often dip then gain in volume as you move about.It also includes a wireless charging pad! It's just something neat that most headphones don't seem to offer though. The cord is kind of short though.The foam earbuds are a NICE touch. Honestly probably a huge selling point for me personally. They are comfy and... well they work as intended! Be prepared to hurt your fingers trying to get them onto the earphones themselves though. At least I know they WON'T come off unintentionally...

Final thoughts: AI can't compare them to top of the line earphones, as I don't have them all, but these are just my personal experiences with the earphones. I can say, without a doubt, that these are definitely worth the upgrade if you suffered from issues with the connectivity of the T5's originally. They sound crisper, deeper, and have a much more reliable connection. They are not without their gripes, as most true wireless earbuds aren't, but in my humble opinion are well worth the money. I'm loving the purchase so far and hope they continue to hold up well!

--Edit--I've experienced some of the 'seating' issues that one or two people have mentioned with the case. Seems like the earphones don't sit well in there 100% of the time, and even jostle the tiniest fraction inside the case. Unfortunately, that tiny amount is enough to make them connect and disconnect to the case. For instance, on my long-ish drive home, the headphones kept pairing and unpairing with my phone, taking over my stereo and stopping my music on multiple occasions over a single drive. Will fiddle around with it a bit and see if I'm doing something wrong, or if I can 'pad' the case a bit to push the earphones down a bit more securely.

--Edit2-- I precision-engineered a circular disc of high-quality foam spacer designed to add leverage to the case and provide more pressure on the earphones to get the connections to make contact. It was a rigorous process involving a pair of scissors and the cheapest craft foam I had laying around. So far it seems to have done the trick haha!
