$299 price ends tomorrow. The closest thing I could find at say Lowes was $420 for the bare sink and then a faucet like this I think was $175 or more by itself. Just in time for football Sunday meal prep!

I bought this sink last summer. Ended up doing a kitchen renovation because our counter tops were gross and some of the cabinets were falling apart. So we just got an entirely new kitchen (appliances too) all because I bought a sink that I really liked.

It's a Kohler, so it's going to be good. I actually have one in the garage that I'm going to install when I re-do the counter in my kitchen. If you want one, and don't need it right away, I'd wait, as they periodically go on sale. Typically as much as $70-$80 off. I bought mine 2 years ago when list was $349 and they had $70 off. $280, w/ the faucet is a good deal.

Is there any difference in quality between stuff bought from a Kohler supplier/showroom vs the Costco items? I have my eye on the sink and was wondering if there was any noticeable difference between the two stores.

I've never seen any brand sold there as being a lesser quality than it is at any other retailer. The difference at Costco is they usually have a slightly different package deal like those sink kits or even just a modified model number to differentiate their stock. I'll be checking back though because my wife and I have been watching that sink/faucet kit for a while.

There are different grades. Take the part numbers and call Kohler CS. I had a case years ago with a difference in deck stain part numbers, but the same color name. I ended up calling Velspar (Cabot), who explained the Lowes version had 50% less pigment than the paint store version. Basically, you get what you pay for.
