Pothos will probably be more than fine, those guys are the ultimate survivors. You might be surprised how much your plants like the fluorescent lights. I have plants in a similar situation in a small business booth I run in a larger building, same as you, no natural light and artificial lights are on 5 days a week but off the two days we are closed. I grow alocasia, philodendron, a bird of paradise there and they are all doing great, even I was surprised. Give a pothos a shot, it should grow quickly if it's happy and after a month or two you'll know how the light conditions are Answer from wheresbeetle on reddit.com

r/houseplants on Reddit: Good plants for an office with low light?
January 16, 2024 -

I just got my first job where I have my own private office, and I'd love to bring a plant or two. However, there's not much light. The fluorescent lights are on from 8-4:30 M-Th, and 8-3:30 on Fridays, with no lights on over the weekend. My office is adjacent to a west-facing glass door with a shade over it, and I get a tiny bit of light from there.

Would a pothos, ZZ plant, or snake plant survive, or would I be condemning it to a slow, sad death? Would something else be better?

Edit to add: Thanks for all the responses! I'll bring a pothos and see how it does. I'll ask if I can bring it into the front office during the weekends so it can get some light. I'm excited to brighten up my office with some greenery!

Ultimate Guide To Office Plants: What Are Indoor Plants?
Office plants that are particularly suited for the job are those that require low levels of light. These are usually the type that, if found in the wild, would be at the bottom of a forest floor with a very thick canopy above them. That would limit the light that they get, so they have developed large, usually green leaves that capture what light they can and use them to grow.
