Up until Sunday I had been in tutorial hell for weeks. But once the video was over with I felt as if I didn’t learn jack. I had no understanding of the code I only saw how it worked in tiny circumstances.

I don’t want to be the guy who rushes through HTML & CSS just to say it’s time to move on to JS.

Imo most tutorials are useless in teaching you why the code works the way it does. I stumbled across the Odin Project, may I say it’s phenomenal when it comes to the basics, but I don’t want to become dependent on it.

If you're someone who can understand with reading you can use w3schools and mdn, if you are someone who learns by watching then freecodecamp is good (there's a few different videos for both html and css choose the one you like) if you can afford a udemy course this was the course that I went through for html/css udemy course

The most important thing in my opinion is that not just watch, open up your ide and write the things you learned in that video.
