I finally realize why people constantly ask about jeans in this sub. Real denim subreddits are more dedicated to vintage finds or raw denim stuff, leading me back here.
So I've been wearing Wrangler cowboy cuts for a while now. I've worn the original fit and slim fit. Love 'em for the durability, but I found the Levi 527s and realized I was super into the flared-out bootcut as opposed to Wrangler's straighter bootcut.
Thing is, the 527s aren't cut quite right in the waist for me. Low-rise jeans and I ain't quite on the same page. So I found the 517 online, but can't find anywhere to try it on in person.
How does it compare in fit to the 501s or 527s? Or even to Wrangler's cowboy cut jeans?

I'm looking to get a pair of 517s. Since they're not available in my country, I need to test my luck and order online. I'm confused, however, since these 2 pairs seem to be exactly the same except they're named differently (ex. black vs welcome to the rodeo).
That said, is the color all there is to it? To illustrate, there are pairs where the color is evidently different (dark wash vs old western roads). Though for some pairs like the black one, I think it's just the back pocket which differs.
I'm also even more confused since they have different style numbers and one is just around USD70 while the other is USD98.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

What saith the congregation? I’m a little partial to bootcut, but I’m curious what other folks think. If it’s relevant, I have these in both black and a caramel brown. I’m pretty tall (6’3”)

New to me 537 jeans. I haven’t seen these before so I bought some and here’s a quick rundown. Haven’t worn or washed them yet.
The fit and sizing is very similar to Cinch, a slightly slimmer cut than their White labels, and not quite as slim as their Ian Silver label. I wear a 33W in both brands. 1% elastane, heavier denim than Cinch Ian and very similar to the Cinch White label.
Rivets on the back pockets, front pocket depth is a little shallow but about average. 11” rise. 33W measures 16.5”, true to size. The bootcut is not extreme, leg opening measures 9”, about right for me. Length is correct.
Measurements taken before washing.
Levi’s is always hit or miss in sizing for me. I ordered 2 pairs, both 33W and one measured 32”. Appears that most major retailers are carrying these, but couldn’t find them on Levi’s website.
Worth a try if you prefer the Cinch stuff but don’t want to pay $80 for jeans, these are widely available for $40.
Hello everyone I was just wonder what your guy’s favorite brand of jeans go best with your boots. Please include Brand, style, and model number if possible.
