My lg washer/dryer I own is not drying my clothes. I replaced the drain pump because it was not draining and cleaned filter but still not drying. I opened the machine and cleaned inside the machine and removed all lint. I also tested the heating element and it seems to be heating up but clothes still are wet. Any advice on what other areas I can clean or test to get the machine to dry properly.

I learned that the machine will not throw an error code for the cold water intake valve, which needs to properly function to dry clothes. I did verify the fan and heater were working (can hear the fan, and the heater gets...well... hot :)). I cleaned the machine front to back, verified all hoses were not obstructed (the two leading up to the rubber skirt were plugged w/lint). Still failed. Finally, it was either using a cheap $15 Cold Water valve or the master board. I replaced the $15 Amazon cold water valve with an actual OEM cold water valve at $110 and for the first time in 5 weeks I have a functioning dryer. That machine will keep you busy, that's for sure!!!

I had the same issue after a short while with my LG all in one unit. I finally figured out that if you take out the lint trap and spray it with dishwasher liquid and using your fingers to rub it in. Rinse it out with water and my unit is drying like a champ. The fabric softener eventually clogs up the screen and this does not allow the proper air flow for drying..

LG WM3987HW combo ventless not drying
I’ve been all over the internet trying to find a solution to this. Our machine runs through the wash cycle just fine and goes through the dry cycle without any errors. But the clothes are completely soaked. We had a technician come out and he concluded that the drain pump was bad and replaced it. More on forum.appliancepartspros.com

October 17, 2023My washer/dryer is getting incredibly hot and not properly drying my clothes. I cannot find the vent anywhere to see what may be the problem. Anyone have experience with this type of dryer?
Alsobif its a condensing dryer, there is a trap you should have to clean like a normal lint trap but for water and lint More on reddit.com
