Hello, have you guys had any luck finding a wireless receiver for the g733? would a universal 2.4 ghz usb receiver even work for it? or would it work wired with the type-c usb?
I have tried reaching out to support (via email) about wanting to purchase a new receiver but they just assumed that I was trying to file a warranty claim. which I don't. I bought it around 2020 and I know it's my responsibility to take care of the receiver. But they just sent me a generic email telling me that my warranty claim is void, bla..bla..bla... Which didn't answer my question to them. I didn't even talk about the details with them yet I just asked if there is an available replacement.
Please help, I love my g733

been looking everywhere. please help.
I was having trouble pairing the replacement receiver with my G733, and I saw many people having the same issue. Since now I successfully paired my headset, I might as well make this post. Hopefully, this will help more people in the future.
The key is to make sure you're pairing your 1st gen G733 with a 1st gen receiver. Or 2nd gen G733 with a 2nd gen receiver, etc.
The replacement receiver I got from Logi-support is probably a 2nd gen receiver, and because of that My 1st gen G733 could not pair with it no matter how I tried. The one I got from eBay, which's a 1st gen receiver, only took 1 second and it successfully paired.
When you contact Logi-support, make sure to mention which gen your G733 is, or ask them if you don't know.
Here's how to pair your G733 with the replacement receiver.
Prepare for the pairing:
-
Charge the headset;
-
Open the G hub app on the PC;
-
Connect the receiver to the PC, which will blink slowly;
-
On the G hub app, G733 will appear but will be "inactive."
Method 1:
-
Press the Reset button underneath the left earcup for two seconds twice;
-
Turn the headset on and off to see if it'll become active.
This may work in some cases.
Method 2:
-
Insert a pin into the hole on the receiver to initiate pairing mode;
-
The light on the receiver will blink much faster when you do it right;
-
Hold BOTH the start button and mute button on the G733 headset for 10-15 seconds;
-
The RGB light on the headset will turn to a flash green light if you do it right;
-
Wait for them to pair; if you have the correct receiver, this should only take a few seconds;
Last tip: connect the headset to the computer as well when pairing; it might help.
That's everything I have for this issue.
May this post help you.
