‘Back in our day’ you could get them just about anywhere, including shops that no longer exist. Just Jeans have some pretty low options. I think you’ll find it hard to find any truly diabolical early 2000s ones now because we did learn from our mistakes - they are pretty unwearable. You spend the whole day hitching them up and sitting down was problematic if you had any kind of skin at all on your abdomen. More on reddit.com

You know what I learned reading this post? I will never EVER get rid of another pair of jeans. I have accumulated a lot, but I am so irritated when I think of what I’ve just thrown or given away. At this point in my life I should have a storeroom in my house that I can visit, select the jeans style from 90s to now, and be on my way. I’m picturing one of those moving clothes hanger setups that you sometimes see at drycleaners. I have under appreciated and underestimated my denim investment. Damn. More on reddit.com

Hello! As a high school student I usually buy jeans from op shops or get them second hand, but they’re all mid/high rise and crush my stomach. I’m looking to find low rise jeans and don’t mind if they’re skinny or wide-legged. Just as long as they don’t make me feel crook. I’m willing to splurge solely for comfort. Thanks in advance 💗

All the "low rise" in the shops are mid rise at best and I'm looking for proper low rise (think christina aguilera, britney spears, paris hilton level) Any millennials want to help me out? I am quite small 5'2 and size 4-6, please let me know of any brands or shops you guys used to get them from. My sister was a teenager at that time and she said sass and bide was her go-to but I can't seem to find any.
