Lots of good recommendations in this thread. The term "MDR" means so many different things these days (funny enough Alert Logic actually wrote a manifesto about it) that it makes it really hard to evaluate services. From what I see in the thread you are looking for someone that can do MDR, SOC, SIEM and a couple other things. I would suggest checking us out at SKOUT. We do all of those things and have a pretty good reputation here in the community.
Even if you don't look at us make sure you evaluate a provider on different areas like tech, integrations, support (how big is their SOC), accreditations, team, and especially go-to-market. Time and time again I see MSPs saying that they are having trouble getting their customers to buy cyber. It is really important to find a vendor that will help you communicate cyber risk effectively to your end-users and make it easy for your team to get them on board.

With MS/Azure I’d recommend looking at MDR vendors which have M365 monitoring and Defender integration. I know for sure that we do and Huntress does but there might be more. If you have other SaaS products it’s worth seeing if the vendor has additional coverage for those. The more coverage you can get via the same vendor = more integration and generally less headaches for you. Do you have a network monitoring requirement? If you manage your own network this is a useful tool and will catch some activity that you won’t see with just cloud and endpoint. Do you have a log retention requirement? We have a lot of smaller clients that tend to not have the need for a full SIEM but are still looking for some sort of centralized logging service that integrates the MDR solution logs with syslogs from firewalls, network equipment, etc. I hope that helps.
