Just went the other day as an adult with an adult friend. I highly recommend the shows! The animal one and the Bourne one were probably my favorite things at the park. We also really enjoyed Horror Makeup. Make sure you catch Blues Brothers and Beat Builders, too! Ride-wise, we started with Men in Black (first ones there!) then went to Gringotts and walked on. Both were a lot of fun. Mummy had a 45min wait, but we did single rider and walked on. Also recommend single rider for Transformers. Definitely don't skip Minions! That one gets a long line. I set an alert on the Universal app to let me know when it got under 30min and waited then. ET is fun and nostalgic. Ask the person at the start of the line if you can have a backstage tour; we missed it but really wanted to. It's hit or miss if they'll do it. The app was really fantastic and they have amazing free wifi. Keep an eye on wait times and show times and as long as you're willing to walk around the park some you can have really short lines and a ton of fun. But I really recommend the shows!
