The internet only required to download the installer file, but once that's done, you can use command line (Office Deployment Tool) to download and install Office 365 offline without internet and use configuration.xml. For instructions, see Use the Office offline installer - Microsoft Support

I used the ODT for deployement. It is ok but there is a way to automaticaly activate the MS 365 Apps for business without Internet? for exemple when I finished to install MS 365 Apps for business offline we need to insert the email address for activation. Is it possible to bypass when I install.?

Is there a direct download link for M365 Office Apps?

I don’t need offline installers, a C2R will do.
As I deploy user computers and install basic apps, I want to pre-install Microsoft Office before signing them in and pulling the installer from their office portal page.
What options do I have?
Are M365 C2R files user specific? Or tenant specific? Can I just download one sample from any tenant and then just use it for installations for all other clients whenever necessary?

Wondering how to do this the correct way.

A tenant with 300 Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses and 300 Microsoft 365 E3 licenses.

How should the deployment of M365 apps be done corectly? 2 packages deployed to different groups based on license type?

Are you using the built in Office installer, Deployment toolkit, script or something different?

i don't believe there is any difference for the 365 apps between these license types? just install it as normal. my normal is using OfficeSetup.exe with a XML config generated at config.office.com wrapped in a Win32 app, has worked 100% of the time vs the 70% success of the built in 365 app deployment in Intune. i also install project and visio, so if a user does need it in the future they will already have it installed.

We have several (46) computers in our environment with both Microsoft 365 Apps for business and Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise installed on them. We have 3 that have just Apps for business and 114 that have just Apps for enterprise. What causes one computer to get both and another computer to only get one or the other? Also what could be causing them to install different versions in the first place?
