I’m currently using Trend Micro WFBS($1530/yr) for virus/malware protection which I would cancel, so the annual increase is not quite so bad. I also considered adding the Defender add on(
5 per user per month) to Standard but it seems Premium adds so much more. I’ve had success with Trend Micro but it seems a little too simple for the complexity malware has added to my security job. Anybody have experience with this upgrade?

If you run Office in a multi-user environment (RDS server) your users will need to be at the Business Premium tier.
That’s really the only reason we have some BP licenses. Otherwise, we are all Standard with a few E3.
Comparing Microsoft 365 Business Standard vs. Premium, the main difference is Standard does not include Azure AD, Intune, Azure MFA, and a few other things. Does this mean that a user licensed with Standard cannot join their PC to Azure AD at all? Can a Standard user not enable MFA on their account? What exactly are the limitations here?

- Desktop versions of Office apps with premium features
- Easily host webinars
- Attendee registration and reporting tools

Moreover, for your problem when receiving outside documents, as far as I know, Outlook Web App blocks attachments that have the certain file name extensions by default. And as the administrator, you can change the Outlook Web App mailbox policy to include and exclude the file types that you want. Here is the detailed instructions: Office 365 users can't open or view attachments in Outlook Web App.

As with most software, the mobile version. web-version and the desktop versions would be different, due to the physical differences of each end device.
Its really a personal choice. For example I find the iphone email app easier to use than the mobile version of outlook.
If you find the desktop versions of Microsoft Office easier to use then you would need to subscribe to Microsoft365 Business Standard to get hold of the corresponding license use rights. You do not require premium.
We are trying to decide which version of 365 to go with, either Premium or Standard. If we are using our own AV solution (BD or CS), what are we losing out on with sticking to Business Standard? (We do want to use Azure AD for users and for an admin account)

I'm trying to determine the security specific advantages of moving my users away from M365 Business Standard and onto M365 Business Premium. I know that at least one advantage is that Exchange Online's spam/phishing security service features are greater for users with Premium licensing.
Any other things that are obvious improvements, if I move to Premium?
Microsoft 365 Family is designed for personal use and includes premium Office apps, 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage, and advanced security features. It can be used by up to 6 users on multiple devices.
