January 2, 2024 - Microsoft laid off 10k a year ago and just recently opened up a handful of open positions to hire. I doubt there will be any other significant layoffs, if anything they’ll just not hire anyone and let natural attrition take its course.

September 1, 2025 - Hey man, in second performance review of 2024, I got 60% and zero awards. Fast forward to Feb 2025 my manager moved my 1:1 and invited the HR. HR informed me I was terminated. No reason. Nothing. My access was taken away in an hour and I was removed from the payroll in 1 week after.
