The work and school option is not available. Where did the download link go. It just takes me to scan a QR code for Teams on my phone.
Thank you,
Claudia

Dear Timothy,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.
You can download the Teams desktop app for work or school accounts from the Microsoft Teams website. Simply go to Download Microsoft Teams Desktop and Mobile Apps | Microsoft Teams and select the appropriate version for your operating system. Once downloaded, you can sign in with your work or school account credentials to access your Teams account.
I hope the information helps! If there is any update or I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. I will continue to assist you. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated. Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day.Sincerely,Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator

I can't seem to find where should I download the Work or School version of Teams. Does anyone know where could I find it?
Here are the things that I exactly did:
Tried to download Teams on this website
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app
Then tried to log in using my work email but I got a message saying "You can't sign in here with a work or school account. Use your personal account instead."
There's a button that redirects me to the same website earlier
But I'm not seeing any options to download the Work or School version.
After I removed the old Teams from my Windows 11 install I noticed the Teams plug-in for Outlook was broken. Trying to resolve this I removed Teams for Work or school from Windows 11.
Found the download link on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app#download-for-desktop but this downloads a .msix file which Windows 11 can not handle. There's also a link to install the App Installer first, but this seems to be for Windows 10.
Am I doing this wrong?
Dear respected Dominique Creppel,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
I’m sorry you’re having a problem but based on your description we can work together to resolve it.
For the situation you encountered, we deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.
As per your description, firstly, may I know you OS? are you using Windows OS or Mac OS? for our reference, so we can understand your exact scenario and provide our suggestion in a productive manner, perhaps some related screenshots will be helpful.
Also, could you please confirm, if you install Office 365 Suite via go to www.Office.com and use your school credential, does the Microsoft Team app not installed with others Office 365 apps?
If you are using Windows OS, then there are actually two different versions of the desktop app, so download and install the correct one. Please make sure that you are signing in to the Teams for work/school version on your device.
Try:
- uninstall teams.
- install teams (see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=2187327&clcid=0x809).
Choose correct "type" of install.
Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
I'm sorry and I apologize for that.
Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Waqas Muhammad
