I’m 35 and have been happily wearing skinny jeans for the last 15 years with no real desire to change until lately (Madewell 10” roadtrippers have me in an absolute chokehold!).
I’m realizing these are starting to date me would love to get a couple of pairs of something more modern, still high waisted and fitted through the hips and butt, but with a looser leg all the way down.
I went shopping over the weekend and was horrified to find anything even vaguely resembling what I’m describing comes with tons of rips and holes in them! Or had audaciously loud whisker wash that made me cringe. I’m also pretty picky about the color (needs to be a nice medium blue, not too light or too dark, no contrast stitch) and I found myself feeling a little bleak imagining myself at 75 still trying to make skinny jeans work.
Any hot tips for me? I’m willing to invest in a couple good quality pairs!!
