Use adhesive tabs. You don’t need glue. They go in each corner of the each carpet tile and hold them together. You may have any issue if the carpet you are going over has a thick pad. Either way this would help with the tiles shifting. I ripped up old broadloom and didn’t want to scrape the old adhesive that was on the concrete. For someone who doesn’t know installing carpet tile, this would be the simplest way (you can lay over existing carpet). The good part is that if you don’t like it, or you need to change something, you can pull up the carpet tile and there isn’t any adhesive to deal with. More on reddit.com

It's been a long time since we carried Legato and it is missed. We carry many different carpet tiles (incl. Millikens commercial tiles) but nothing like it. If you want a carpet tile options, most brands offer no glue installation options (adhesive strips or lockdots). I would not install traditional carpeting unless you intended to take efforts to keep it clean. Given that you are not, tiles seem fine. More on reddit.com
