Does anyone know of legit work from home jobs that don’t have a sign up fee for in Canada or Nova Scotia?. Not looking to sell makeup Avon stuff like that. Like actual work from home for a company? Working a minimum wage job with no benefits is only paying for the cost of gas to get to work and child care. Nothing more nothing less, and times are stressful right now, so looking for something with benefits and a flexible schedule. Thanks in advance!
All the one i see are sketchy af, i need to get another job to make ends meet.
I am a college student but decided to take 2 semesters off just because... well I really do not like school. I love to work though. I am a hard worker and have had my fair share of 70 hour work weeks. But right now I just feel like I want to take a more relaxed job. I don't care about pay. If its minimum wage I'm fine with it. I fine with not over time even part time. I just want any kind of remote job so I can finally relax a bit.
You read the title.. I’m going broke and I need a job, I currently work at walmart in weekends but it gives my body so much pain.. i just cant do that slavery anymore. I’m also in college full time in my last semester about to apply for internships in graphic design.
Please help me out if y’all know something..
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for legit work-from-home job opportunities — preferably things that pay decently and don’t involve MLMs, pyramid schemes, or starting my own “business.” I just want something real, ideally where I can get paid for actual work.
If you’ve personally worked for or found jobs through any trustworthy websites, platforms, or companies, please share! 🙏
Would love recommendations, especially if they’re global or work in Canada too.
Thanks in advance!
What are some / any legitimate work from home companies? Especially for someone with no experience, but wants to do remote work. Have reliable high speed internet, new piwerful pc, land line, and office space.
Searched for this, but don't know which are scams.
Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Job searching and see ad listings with "remote" and " no experience required" . Don't know if these are legitimate.
Hi there,
Tell me about a Work From Home job that works for you. Is there really such a thing or is it all scams? I really need a job and cannot find a traditional job. Thank you so much.
I'd love to do work from home that isn't customer service. Problem is my current experience is driving and can't do courier jobs from home. Maybe dispatching can be done from home, so look into that?

The feds. No joke. A lot of them are leaning into work from home and thinking of selling physical buildings or not renewing leases.
Look for CR or AS pools that are entry level.
I’m looking for some work from home jobs, or work remote jobs, but haven’t had any luck anywhere finding something that’s actually legit (or finding where to apply for ones that are lol). Does anyone have any recommendations? :)
Edit; I’m in Saskatchewan
I'm in desperate need of a job. All I want is something, anything, that I can live off of and pay my bills. I have a place right now to live in, but it is not the best and I need out asap.
I have a job, but the hours are unreliable and the pay is minimal. It's an amazing workplace but I just can't survive off of it. I'm searching for something part time I can work with my other job. Or a full time job to swap into.
I've been searching but most of the jobs I find are either not legit/online scams, or have requirements that are unlikely to be achieved.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have no clue where to turn to next. I've scoured online job forums (ie indeed, etc) even attempted WorkBC(that was an utter bust).
I'm ideally looking for something online, that I can work from home. Though I am willing to commute or even move within BC/AB (though financially I'd prefer that to be a last resort, or something I do after I've had time to earn an income to pay for it).
I'm trying to find a new job or maybe another one I can do along with my part-time job I have now. Where are people looking? I find indeed to have tons of scams, and I don't seem to ever get replies on anything I apply to there. I would really like to get a remote job so I can work during the day ( I am someone who works in the animation Feild and everything has gone to shit. I have a 2 year old daughter and can't work during the day cause I'm home with her. So remote would fix that.) Anything would help, thanks.
I live in northern ontario in a rural community and I am struggling to find a job near me and I do not have reliable transportation, I have been looking for a remote job I can do from home but everything i’ve found seems like a scam, is there any legit companies you recommend?
Believe it or not, I think the best remote job a person can get without experience is customer support. Let me explain why.
I got my start in customer support. I know many people avoid customer support due to stories about the stress, low pay, or the “dead-end” nature of it. But here's a few reasons why I like it and recommend it to many people:
Low Barrier to Entry
Most customer support positions don’t require a degree or years of experience. This allows you to start applying right away. It also allows individuals without a college degree to get a legitimate job.
Even if you see something that says “Required 2 years of customer-facing role”, if you want the position you should apply. When you assess your past work experience you'll find that what you did does count as relevant experience. It just takes some work on the resume to showcases this.
Career Mobility
Two people I started my remote customer support job with were promoted within a year—one became a data analyst and the other a project manager. Another person went from customer support to the marketing team. I was promoted into quality assurance which involves reviewing our customer interactions to make sure our service was up to standard.
This type of career mobility occurs mostly at new companies that are growing. When they need to hire people they’ll often look at the customer service department since it’s easy to replace someone they promote from there and since people in customer support tend to be the jack-of-all-trade type. And why not promote from within since the person already knows the ins and outs of the company?
Doing something like teaching English online or data entry wouldn’t offer this career mobility and potential growth.
Good Pay
The first customer support job I got which was in person paid $16.50 per hour. My first remote customer support job paid $20. I’ll admit that $20 an hour is rare and that I got lucky in that case, but these jobs are out there.
Customer service is an important part of a company, so most companies pay a living wage for these positions. This isn’t the type of job companies want to pay minimum wage for because they need quality workers who won’t quit in two months. The way they do this is by offering competitive pay.
Health Insurance
When I got my first remote customer support position, the company didn’t have health insurance until a year later. This was okay with me and expected since it was a new company. But if health insurance is a requirement, you won’t have trouble finding a company that offers it.
If you'd like to read more about where to look for these jobs and how to identify the legit ones, you can read the full post here. I didn't want to make 1200 word reddit post ha.
If you're looking to land a remote job with no prior experience, a good place to start is by searching for entry-level positions in your field of interest. When applying, emphasize your transferable skills and your enthusiasm for the role.
I recently found a remote gig on FlexJobs site, which was a game-changer for me. It made the whole job-hunting process way easier, and the listings are pretty legit. It might take a bit of patience, but there are gems out there.
Thanks man, I might look into this, Im chronically ill and I’m about to lose my Medicare and disability. I really need a job I can do from home.
I never got to work from home throughout the pandemic and I've been dreaming of the possibility ever since. Wondering if fully remote still exists out there and in what fields?
My life's dream is working from home in a cozy 1 bedroom apartment, writing novels on the side (full-time author is what I'd like to work towards), and high enough pay that I can spend money here and there for stuff I want without having to worry about not being able to pay rent.
What I'm looking for is some advice on which avenues to pursue or research that will eventually be able to lead to wfh. I know IT will likely be a big one, but I've heard the market is oversaturated and hard to get into without a compsci degree.
I appreciate any advice or help, thanks!
Edit: I'm a senior in HS right now, trying to decide on my future career.
Edit 2: I'm aware wfh isn't cozy sleep-ins and no work. Writing would be after I finish my shift.
Husband lost his job and I'm on mat leave so we're looking for anything that'll help so I can stay off on mat leave for as long as possible.
I've applied to Data Annotation but haven't heard back yet. I do have a university degree but it's a degree in social science so doesn't help me with most options online as most of my skills are interpersonal and not tech/data.
Anyone know of some work from home jobs that you can actually make a little money at? Canadian based. With some health issues in my life, it’s hard to go to work somedays, and I’ve missed days due to my health issues. Just looking for some ideas or help in things to do from home for extra cash to be able to still have a half decent income. Thanks in advance, also if you have nothing nice to say please don’t waste mine or your time. I really do not have to explain my health issues, other than it does effect my daily living, but I do try to do the best I can with what I deal with.
My oldest is going to school in September and my wife would like to move on from her current job working at a daycare (which has been great for the kids) to something that would give her flexibility for pick up and drop off when my son is at school - we also have a 2 year old daughter who would stay in daycare while she works.
I figure WFH jobs are the best bet but it’s hard to filter through all the scammy jobs like “make $1000 a week from your living room!” Type postings that are all over indeed.
Don’t know where to start really so any guidance is helpful.
My wife has business ownership experience, management experience, she was a successful office manager before kids came along and she also has a degree from King’s (western) in Childhood and social institutions (she was once going to be a teacher but no longer wants that).
