Here's a list of plants that are non-toxic to cats! Alternatively, you could grow squash, cucumbers or beans up the lattice, so your cat gets shade and you get veggies. Squash in particular grows fast, with giant leaves. More on reddit.com

There are a number of different types of trailing peperomia (beetle peperomia, peperomia prostrata, parallel peperomia, etc), and most of those are safe for pets!

Are grape vine leaves safe for cats to consume?
Here is the ASPCA's list of plants that are toxic and non-toxic to cats. Note that the upper half of the list is toxic, the bottom half of the list is non-toxic. If you cannot find the plant on there, then a call to Poison Control is advised.
