Hi Idk,
“I’m not very subtle with things” means I am open, straightforward or candid. When something is subtle it is NOT obvious. A subtle pink is a shade of pink that is pale. It is not bold or "in your face". Statements and actions can be subtle too. A lady who is attracted to a man can make subtle moves to show him that she is interested in him. This means that she performs actions to show the man that she is interested in him, but the actions do not give it away that she is interested. They are not obvious. I hope that helps.
