How are you 2LT without a degree? Anyways, in my limited experience with the NSA (I got a CJO for a software engineer position, but lost it due to the hiring freeze), having good grades goes a long way. If your undergrad GPA isn't strong, you might consider getting a master's degree and working towards getting a good GPA. For example, my master's in CS GPA is 3.83/4.0. You'll also won't miss out because you'll enter with a higher pay grade with a master's. Also, being in the military and already having a clearance id a huge plus, imo! Just my 3 cents. Gotta wait for the hiring freeze to end, but definitely apply before you are done with school and don't put all your eggs in the govt basket because even when you sign a CJO you'll still be waiting a year or two for suitability and even that isn't a guarantee. More on reddit.com
