Hi everyone!
Soooo I’m in this internal tug-of-war of going and buying the $1500 travel system or going for a more affordable one like the Chicco Primo or a Mockingbird or something like that that is half the price and does the same job so I definitely need help and advice.
Me and my husband will have to purchase everything. I see a lot of people doing baby registries and all that stuff but we’re not very social not close to his family and both my parents passed away so we’re not asking people to do anything for us or buy us anything so we’ll be paying for everything ourselves which is why a part of me is like OK let’s try to save money.
BUT I’m 5’8 my husband is 6’4 so I love the extendable handles that the Nuna strollers have so that he will be able to use it not have to get back pain other than that realistically speaking I don’t think we’ll use it that much which is why I’m doubting buying it. We don’t really go out that much, we live in Northeast so I’m gonna try to avoid taking my baby out when it’s freezing cold outside because he’ll be born in January.
We would probably only use it for short trips to the grocery store maybe a store here and there maybe going out for walks once he’s a little older since dad loves to go for walks but I’m not sure if spending around $1500 on a travel system when I’ll have to buy the other car seat at some point which will be like $600 as well is worth it for the use we will give it.
We have the money to buy it so I know it really wouldn’t be a problem, but I’m trying to be smart with my money here I would be completely OK with buying it if I knew that I’m definitely gonna take advantage of it but given my situation, do you guys think that it would be stupid to buy it just to not use it as much? Or should I get? I really need the advice 😆
I’m all for it because I love this troller and especially the extendable handles or the fact that it’s front facing and rear facing I just hate the ones that have the car seat adapter so I’m gonna go and see them today probably at the store but my husband is obviously saying $1500 for a stroller System is ridiculous which I can’t really argue against that since there’s really cheap options out there that will do the same job but I don’t wanna go for one of those so I’m looking within the mid to high end of the price points.
I wanna get something that it’s good and it’s gonna last and feels good quality but also that is in the price range according to the use that I will give it as I said if I knew that I live in a city where I can walk everywhere and I’ll use it every day then I wouldn’t have doubts, and I would probably buy it, but I live in a suburban area. I need a car to go everywhere it’s called all the time so it’s not like I can go out for a walk with a little baby the whole time so I’m not sure what to do please any advice would be greatly appreciated.
