I've got two bathrooms that don't appear to have ever been renovated and are original to my house. (Built in 1973)
The trim around the shower diverter valve says Moen on it.
Single knob. Pull to turn the water on and push to turn it off. The knob moves about 1/2 inch inwards and outwards. 9 o'clock is full hot. 3 o'clock is full cold. 12 o'clock is half and half. A little knob on the end of the bathtub spigot kicks on the shower head.
Reason I'm asking, is I'd like to get a valve that uses a similar cartridge for when I upgrade a half bath to a full bath by adding a shower stall.
When I take apart one of these existing vlaves, where should I look for a part number or other identifying marks?
