It was the early 2000s the time when everyone was using Winamp, but I kept using another not very popular software because of its good audio quality, the main interface was a neat list with grey border, the interface was minimal, had no skins as far as I remember, the software logo was a grey butterfly and it had another grey compact view with progress bar and main controls

This is a software that was an MP3 player. It looked like a HiFi stack, with two "cassette decks", virtual "vu meters" and so on. It was not a skin for winamp, it was an independent software. . I used it on my first Windows XP pc, trying to find it through Googling proved impossible as results are polluted by Virtual DJ and Winamp skins. Any help appreciated.
It is not:
-
JetAudio
-
Sonique
-
XMPlay
-
Winplay
-
AIMP
-
VirtualDJ
Hey there,
just recently, an old memory of creating skins for an MP3 player came back to me and I'm trying to find the software again.
It must've been software available around 10-15 years ago, it played audio files and the interface was completely customizable via skins (I believe it was bmp graphics & config ini files).
It was not:
WinAmp
Rainmeter
Amarok
Foobar2000
jetAudio
Xion Audio Player
EDIT: After 3 years, I finally found it! It was CoolPlayer+
