Hi folks
I am moving across the country and need to ship a couple of boxes. I am planning to try FedEx Ground shipping home pickup and I have a couple of questions:
Is there an additional cost for them to pick up the packages from my place (compared to let’s say I go to a Walmart FedEx)?
Once I schedule a pickup, do I need to *print * anything out? I don’t have a printer lol.

Just to make things clear up-front: this is not about a package I'm receiving. I'm trying to ship a package back for a return. It needs to be picked up because it's too large for me to transport to a FedEx location myself.
I scheduled a pickup for this past Wednesday. No one showed up. Called customer service, got a case opened, and received a call the next day assuring me that someone would pick it up that day. Spoiler alert, no one showed up...again. Call customer service again, and they schedule a new pickup for today.
As of this writing there are still about 4 hours left in the pickup window for today, but I'm not confident at all that things are going to be any different today. I don't want to call customer service again just to get a new pickup scheduled or some empty promise that my package will be picked up tomorrow. Is there any surefire way I can get this escalated to someone with more power to get this right? This is getting ridiculous.
I have time sensitive tests that were mailed to me, my doctor emphasized on calling a schedule pickup and confirming the date/time before doing the test because it has 48 hrs before they go bad.. its an overnight package, and the doc office is 6 hours away so this was supposed to be a better alternative. the tests were for my 2 kids, myself and wife.. my wife got back from a work trip on sunday and im left for training at 8am on monday so we did the tests sunday night. Paid $300 for all of this.
The window i was given was "1pm-5pm".. its alnost 6pm and no one stopped by.
i checked my camera that records nonstop and a fedex vehicle never drove on my road, and no one all day pulled into my driveway.
i did call support and they kept gaslighting me saying the driver marked down "the package is not in the mail room"..im in a residental address btw. support was gaslighting me saying the driver did come to my home, when i mentioned i have a camera suddenly its all apologies and they will call dispatch.
then im told the will just send out someone again from 1pm-5pm for tuesday, meaning the tests wont be there until wednesday and wont be valid because they arent supposed to be out that long.
they told me they wont reimburse me.. is there anything i can do? i have the #, confirming pickup that support also confirmed and all the details are right.. i can supply the footage for the entire day proving no one bothered to show up aswell.
I want to send in a phone for trade in to it's worth more. It has a prepaid label for FedEx ground. How much would it cost to schedule a one time pickup at my house?
I have a valuable package (contents worth $20,000) that was routed for pickup with ID and signature at my local FedEx Office location. It didn't show up on the scheduled delivery date, and I got an email exception notice saying delivery was attempted but "no one was home, or the business was closed". I called and was told it would be available for pickup the next day. Same thing happened again, delivery exception email and no package at the local Office. Now I get an email that there will be one more delivery attempt before the package will be returned to sender. The sender has now left for Spain for a month and there will be no one home to receive a returned package. What is going on? I keep getting conflicting answers from various phone customer service reps.
