Ore Quadrupling?
The Mekanism wiki

has really good entries on how 3x, 4x, and 5x processing setups work. I haven’t dug into the latest releases of Mekanism but they were relevant as recent as my 4x setup in Enigmatica 2 (non-expert).
In my experience, the 4x setup is bottlenecked hard by the liquid you need from the Solar Evaporation Plant. You may want to consider making more than one of those.
I do also agree with other comments here- getting a quarry set up, or moving around a digital miner, or making a void ore miner, is easier/faster to set up. Resource availability is relatively infinite so getting the most from each ore isn’t necessary. It can be fun though- if that’s how you want to set up your base then go for it. Play your way.

Mekanism ore quadrupling setup won't process starmetal ore
Did you know there is a ore quadrupling system in ATM6?
Lmao u can actually 10x ores because the ore chunks from elemental craft work in the mekanisme quintupler
More on reddit.comI'm having some difficulty with ore quadrupling. I'm working in Mekanism, is there another mod I need to throw into the mix?

If someone has an answer, I'd love to know. I use the ender io sag mill and grind balls to give more per ore.
I found out that many ores can be quadrupled by using an ore purifier --> enrichment chamber --> smelting. Hence i have been quadrupling my allthemodium, vibranium, and unobtanium
It hurts when the description just says that the Chemical Injection Chamber can make 4 times the amount of metal you get from one ore instead of 1:1, but it doesn't tell you the massive amount of machines you have to put into working it.
New to FTB and Mekanism? Me too, but let me explain.
Mekanism is a Tech mod that is in some if not most FTB modpacks (to my knowledge) that offers industrial machines that does myriad of tech stuff like Chemical making and mixing. One of the machines is called an Enrichment Chamber. Basically, it makes items you put into it better and holds more values. For ores, this makes it so that the output is 2:1. But then you get something called a Purification Chamber, an upgrade from Enrichment Chamber which makes ores 3:1. Then you finally have the Chemical Injection Chamber which makes ores 4:1.
So me being a noob, I thought, "Wow, awesome!" And just crafted the Chemical Injection Chamber. So far so good. Then problems came one by one.
First, you need Hydrogen Chloride to feed the machine so that the ore can be processed. You'd think, yeah, Salt exists, so what's the problem? Problem is you need 200mB of H-Cl. One salt item only gives you 2mb, which means even if you dig for endlessly you still need 100 units. So that's not gonna be viable.
What you can do however, is make H-Cl yourself. Funny enough, all you need to make H-Cl is just water in Minecraft (Sea water for Real life, obviously), and one Enrichment Chamber, one Purification Chamber (which takes one Enrichment Chamber, hence using up the previous one), One Chemical Infuser, One Thermal Evaporation Plant (Multiblock structure, thankfully not a large one), and several tanks.
So after all that iron and osmium I spent, I finally managed to create H-Cl. Sad thing about it is 14000mB of Water only creates 250mB of H-Cl, but it is way more efficient than digging salt blocks.
So I thought, "Finally!"
Nope, what came out processed is called an Iron Shard. You need another Enrichment Chamber, and a Crusher.
Yeah, crush my heart and soul.
And after all that, I finally get 4 times the metal from one ore.
Might as well go back to Tinker's Smeltery. I spent 4 hours doing this. For two more pieces of iron per ore.
Which do you guys prefer? Smeltery or Mekanism way?
