What are college students summer jobs?
What are some common challenges college students face when balancing academics with part-time work or internships?
I’m 25f going into graduate school in the fall. I’m currently looking for a part time job in the restaurant industry (preferably host) or any kind of front desk or cashier work. I was a teacher during the school year for about two years so I can deal with the public very well. I also have experience working at insomnia cookies and McDonald’s. I’ve applied to many jobs on indeed and culinary agents but I haven’t heard back from any so if anyone has any leads please let me know!
Hello everyone,
I am a college student looking for a job and so far I have applied to over 100 places and have had no luck. I don't have much experience unfortunately. I have worked as a cashier for one year before and that is the only official job I've held. I am looking for Jos that don't need much experience in the center city are and the temple area. I have extremely flexible hours too so if anyone knows of any places hiring and could lmk I would greatly appreciate it.
side note - many people have told me to apply in person so I have also been doing that but I have not had much luck. Does this actually work?
I'm a 21-year-old currently engaged in a six-month co-op program and looking to make the most of my evenings and weekends by securing a part-time job to cover some expenses. I'm particularly drawn to the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant/bar industry and am eager to dive into the world of hospitality.
I'm reaching out to this community for any helpful advice or recommendations on where to apply in and around University City. I have a keen interest in starting as a barback with the aspiration of eventually transitioning into a bartender role. Alternatively, I'm open to exploring opportunities as a server, as I enjoy the idea of being in a more social environment.
If anyone has insights into specific establishments in University City that might be a good fit for someone starting out in the industry, especially places where many young adults go to interact, I would greatly appreciate your suggestio
