Default options don’t seem to save for me using the PC app. In fact, it defaults to a single hyphen (-) and i need to go through all the preferences, then refresh to get the new password. I am unable to generate passwords in the Chrome extension. I click the icon. I click “Generator”. I have an option of “Password, Passphrase, or Username.” Chosing and option does nothing. In the space where passwords would be generated, I have “-” The regenerate icon is grayed out. More on community.bitwarden.com

Does anyone use this feature? I think it’s a critical component of a password manager, but the Bitwarden implementation seems very clunky. Curious whether this is generally used?
Full disclosure - we are an MSP looking to roll out to our client base and it seems like the way the generator is implemented would make it unlikely that users would use this - so I thought I would with the community whether you routinely use the password generator feature.

clunky Not sure what you mean. Do you have an example of something you prefer? IMO password generation is a challenging workflow for the user, simply because there are so many different and inconsistent rules for acceptable passwords. https://dumbpasswordrules.com/ This renders into a terrible user experience, and it has nothing to do with the password manager.
