I won a bid on a 100 year old wristwatch that has gone through combat and a POW camp only to get lost by Pitney Bowes. Now neither Pitney or ebay have any interest in helping me find the lost watch. I've contacted ebay customer support 10+ times and they say "They'll forward my request to a specialized team" and then they never contact me and refuse to give me any contact information. It's been a month and I'm concerned the package is in some landfill with lost fake Crocs and phone cases. Pitney Bowes just bounces me around robot answering machines unless I contact printer technical support. There a human answers but though they've listened to my issue twice they haven't given me any contact info or returned calls. Anyone have any ideas how to get this sorted? It's no like this is about some Chinese counterfit sneakers this is a historical item.

Package from UK. Arrived there 'Global Shipping Centre' 2/22/22. Predicted delivery in California 3/2-3/4.
Pitney Bowes tracking says package handed to USPS 2/28/22. USPS continues to show "Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item". Pitney Bowes says contact Ebay. Ebay is famously uncaring and unhelpful. I have started a problem ticket with USPS (making noise helps prevent some packages that have gone off the radar from disappearing completely from what I have seen).
Is this normal? Should I make more noise at Ebay? Thanks for any info!

If your Ebay global shipping package doesn't update tracking for 7 days, Ebay will refund you themselves. Interestingly enough I'm in almost the exact same boat. I ordered an item from the UK on ebay on 2/9, was shipped via Pitney Bowes. It stopped updating on 2/25, says it's in Monroe Township, NJ. USPS tracking says "Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item." Today is 3/14, and it's still in NJ supposedly. I started a USPS missing mail search just in case, but I'm pretty sure it's just hanging out in the PB facility.

Long time eBay seller and buyer here. Pitney Bowes gets to keep any confiscated item that does not ship out with the global program. I have now used the program 5 times and out three packages. There are countless testimonials online. This is even happening in the US for sellers. It’s obvious this scam is incentivized because the seller and buyer have no recourse. There needs to be a class action suit!

I do not understand how the largest online marketplace can't offer tracking through Pitney Bowes for lightweight items. All we need to ship our product is an envelope with a piece of cardstock. That's what we use for eBay and Etsy.

I purchased shoes from the UK to the US through eBay gsp.
I looked up the tracking in the app and it said that the delivery was completed through pitney bowes, but it didn't arrive to me.
When I googled it, pitney bowes is a partner of usps, is this coming to me through usps?
When I looked up the tracking number of Pitney Bowes to usps, only the label was created, and it only says tracking that was not sent.
So, I asked eBay that I didn't receive the item, but I still haven't received a response. Has anyone had a similar experience with me?

Pitney Bowes isn't a shipping company, it's a postage company. It allows sellers to print postage and I'm pretty sure it's what eBay uses if they buy the postage from the order page. What is the tracking number? The format of the numbers and letters will let us know which carrier is being used. I imagine it was shipped to the international hub in the UK with whatever shipping service is used there to get it the US and then the USPS will take over.

I just did a couple of days ago. The tracking info was visible in the UK until it hit “container sealed” and then no info until it landed in CA. From there it was handed over to USPS and delivered like any other USPS package.

I’m looking at an item I sold through GSP in the EBay app and under the tracking info, I can see 3 tracking numbers for the item. It should be there for you as well. Hit track package to see the full tracking history of the item.
