I had always had good luck with Pottery Barn. Their products were always good quality and the service was great. Last month my wife and I decided to splurge a bit on a dining set for our new home. We purchased 4 Windsor high back chairs, a bench, and their farmhouse table. The chairs showed up last week and there was paint in all of the threads. One chair was so bad it couldn’t be assembled and I had to return it. Fast forward to today, they deliver the table and it’s damaged. There is a 6 inch gouge in the table top. I immediately call Pottery barn and they tell me a new one won’t be ready till middle of December. We won’t have a table for Thanksgiving. I’m astounded at just how bad this has been. I was told that I should keep the table and then swap it for a replacement but honestly that seems like a lot of work and I don’t have the ability to take it down and return it at the store, which is what they are asking me to do with the chair. Pottery Barn really isn’t what it used to be.
